GG lives in the south of Ardeche, in the town of St Marcel d'Ardeche, and has been a professional musician since 1990.
He plays guitar, dobro, sings, as well as plays harmonica, mandolin, bass, banjo and saxophone.
His music includes the blues, country, rock, folk, Cajun, and reggae.
GG plays what he loves, without any boundaries!
His other passions include a love of North American Indians, a love of nature, animals, as well as being contemplative.
GG is constantly busy!
He performs solo but also plays in duets, trios, up to five musicians with his Country
band (they play: Country, country-
Perfomrs at festivals, concert halls, pubs, private parties, etc.
A high energy performer, who plays with a lot of feeling and humour.
The CD " Country ", with his country band, came out in November, 2009, and is distributed by Mosaïc music.
His second CD "Colours" is solo, and has just been released, and captures the intimacy of his solo concerts.
In the works is a CD, to be release in about a year, will feature GG Gibson's own French compositions.
GG delights in meeting new friends, with new instruments, and is up for any new experience, particularly in his music studio in St Marcel. (Guitar teacher)
In the 2010 Wonegain Festival, in Bagnols sur Ceze (Gard), he played with Higelin and Melino.
He has also played at Bagnols Blues Festival, ticketed with John Mayall and Little Bob, at the Pajotblues Festival in Galmaarden, at the Affligem Bluest Festival in Belgium, and at the Paastblues Festival in Asten, the Netherlands., To the festivals country in France, of Cagnes sur Mer (French Riviera Country Festival), of Le Barp in Gironde, of Junas in the Gard, soon to the festival of Mirande in the Gers in 2012.
He delights in pleasing the public, a performer with a big heart and a lot of emotion.
